Dr Zhang Yiyuan, Research Assistant Professor, received the Microfluidic Award 2023 in the category of New PhD researchers for her outstanding research output entitled “Magnetic-actuated ‘capillary container’ for versatile three-dimensional fluid interfaces manipulation” (published in Science Advances, 2021). The Award, sponsored by Microblox & Fluigent, is to honor outstanding works on microfluidics that not only involve cutting-edge academic innovation but also have a high prospect of industrial transformation and application.
