Success in securing GRF 16/17

The results of the grants from the Research Grants Council’s General Research Fund (GRF) for the 2016/17 round were announced on 30 June 2016. The Department performed well, with a significant increase in the success rate for the GRF/ECS from 19% in 2015/16 to 43% in 2016/17). Ten of our GRF/ECS proposals were funded (see the table below).
