The Practice of City Information Modeling for Urban Governance

Dr. Tao Yang is the Executive Deputy Director of the Future City Lab, China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), the Chief Architect of Xiong’an Branch of CAUPD, a member of The Information Panel of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development, a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Urban Design of Tsinghua University, a member of The Steering Committee of Space Syntax; a Standing Member of Computing Design of China Society of Architecture; a Senior Member of Big Data Committee of China Society of Urban Science. He is in charge of the Platforms of the City Information Modeling of Suzhou and the BIM based Management Platform of the Digital Planning and Construction for Xiong’an. He published more than 100 papers and 3 books.
