Located on the fourth floor of The Jockey Club Innovation Tower on the PolyU main campus, InnoHub has been dedicated to promoting communal innovations and entrepreneurship in partnerships with academia, businesses, entrepreneurial intermediaries and angel investors since March 2017.

Fixed desk: ~60 seats in four working areas with controlled access
Hot desk: ~60 seats in several open workspaces

Eligible Start-ups/ Projects: 

An entrepreneurship project team or start-up founded/ co-founded by student, alumnus or academic staff of PolyU, HKCC or SPEED. They can be:

  • PolyU academic-led start-ups
  • PolyU start-ups or projects supported by PolyU entrepreneurship programmes
  • PolyU start-ups or projects currently supported by other qualified programmes
  • Other PolyU start-ups or entrepreneurship projects


Eligible project team or start-up must apply through the Principal Applicant (PA) , who should be a student, alumnus or academic staff of PolyU, HKCC or SPEED.

Eligible project team or start-up must complete the online application form through the PA with the following documents uploaded on or before the application deadline.

  • a 15-slide pitch deck
  • CVs of all team members
  • a copy of student ID/ graduation certificate/ staff ID of each PolyU student, alumnus or staff
  • Declaration of Use of PolyU Knowledge/ Innovations/ Technologies duly signed/ endorsed by PolyU academic staff, with supporting documents (if applicable)

Administration Charge:

HK$100 per individual user, non-refundable (applying to successful applicants only)


Vaccine Pass:

PolyU is following the Vaccine Pass measure of the Government of HKSAR. All PolyU InnoHub users are required to fulfil the COVID-19 vaccination requirements in order to gain access to the campus.

Utilisation Rate Review

Fixed-desk users with an attendance lower than 60% of available working days will be downgraded to hot-desk users unless strong justifications are provided subject to the satisfaction of KTEO.

KTEO reserves its right in its sole discretion to early terminate any access right of any admitted project team or start-up with low utilisation or non-compliance of terms and conditions of usage, etc.
