Louis SZE

Louis Sze is the CEO and co-founder of Syngular Tech, which is an augment reality application development company, focusing in using augment reality to assist complex surgery and enable remote collaboration.

Before his recent venture in Syngular Tech, Louis also founded two other medtech companies, which specialized in medical 3D printing and AI assisted retinal image diagnostic respectively. As a serial entrepreneur and business consultant, Louis has a background in biomedical engineering, orthopedics, artificial intelligence and ARVR. Louis is also very familiar with Hong Kong startup ecosystem, many of his companies have been admitted in HKSTP and he also briefly joined HKSTP as a senior manager to kickstart the HKSAR government InnoHK initiative, the launching of 28 InnoHK research centres in HKSTP is an important milestone to translate institutional research into commercialization.  Louis Sze has been active in giving technical sharing to the industry and mentored students in different competitions. 

Prior his entrepreneurial journey, Louis also spent 5 years in Polytechnic University, most recently as an engineer in the additive manufacturing stream in Industrial Centre, where he strengthened his knowledge in 3D printing, 3D design and modelling skills.
