PolyU Single-Sign-On (PolyU-SSO)

Information Security and Protection Services

This service provides user authentication and single-sign-on support for PolyU's web and mobile applications. User can access those appliations by using their NetID and NetPassword. Optionally, application owners can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) at PolyU-SSO for additional authentication.

After successful authentication, user attributes (e.g. Name, Email, Department, etc.) can be passed to application to fulfil business requirements.

PolyU-SSO currently supports the following protocols for integration:
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) (https://www.oasis-open.org/standards#samlv2.0)
- OpenID Connect (http://openid.net/connect/)
- Rapid Connect (JWT-based)
