Learning and Teaching Technology Support Services

This service provides various computing services to support the teaching, learning, and research activities of the University.  Registration and approval by department and ITS may be required for some of the services.

mySystem - the service allows users to run, test, or develop applications on virtual machine environment.  Both Windows and Linux are available.

myPolyUWeb - the service allows users to publish their personal homepage on the Internet while on or off campus.  It gives users the ability to store and manage web pages in a secure way anytime anywhere,

mySurvey - the service allows users to easily create and conduct Internet-based opinion surveys without programming effort.

Service level

All service request are classified as level 1 to 4 depending on its impact & urgency.

  • Level 1 – Service Request Resolution Time: 1 day
  • Level 2 – Service Request Resolution Time: 2 days
  • Level 3 – Service Request Resolution Time: 4 days
  • Level 4 – Service Request Resolution Time: N/A

All Incident are classified as level 0 to 4 depending on its impact & urgency.

  • Level 0 – Incident Resolution Time: 4 hours
  • Level 1 – Incident Resolution Time: 1 days
  • Level 2 – Incident Resolution Time: 2 days
  • Level 3 – Incident Resolution Time: 5 days
  • Level 4 – Incident Resolution Time: 10 days
