Effective from 23 November 2022, a new VPN service called ‘Cloud Express II’ has been made available to all Mainland-based students for continuing the provision of smooth connection to LEARN@PolyU.
The existing ‘Cloud Express’ VPN service will retire at 23:59 on 14 December 2022, students based in Mainland cities are encouraged to switch the VPN service to ‘Cloud Express II’ as soon as possible.
To facilitate the transition, both ‘Cloud Express II’ and the existing Cloud Express VPN will be running in parallel from now to 14 December 2022.
Existing users of Cloud Express can switch to use ‘Cloud Express II’, the new VPN service, by adding a new gateway IP address in the GlobalProtect VPN client software. You may remove the obsoleted gateway IP address of Cloud Express after 14 December 2022.
