Class attendance record reflects to LEARN@PolyU Grade Centre

Good news! The attendance record can now be automatically uploaded to LEARN@PolyU. Instructors can choose 'auto upload' class attendance records to LEARN@PolyU course’s Grade Centre starting from week 3 of each semester. Student attendance records for full semester can be generated at the semester end.

To enable this function, course instructor can fill in this eform.

 

Class Attendance Application

'Class attendance application' has been deployed to all classroom teaching PC to allow instructors to generate a dynamic QR code for class attendance taking.

 

How the class attendance application works?

As an instructor	As a student
Double click ‘Take Attendance’ icon on the classroom teaching PC* Sign in with NetID and NetPassword Select the course for attendance taking Show the QR code (classroom screen / VC tool shared screen) to students for attendance taking Attendance has been recorded successfully  Stop sharing the QR code after students scanned the QR code	Students joined the face-to-face class can scan QR code from overhead projector screen of teaching venue and online students can scan QR code via the shared screen of the video conferencing host with their own mobile device Sign in with NetID and NetPassword Attendance has been recorded successfully
