University Research Facility Management System (URFMS) has been adopted by UBSN in 2021, URF in Materials Characterization and Device Fabrication (UMF) has started to migrate their equipment from 3 January 2022 onwards to URFMS. Additional functions and features added in the latest release of URFMS include:
- Linkage of the actual use of research facility in lab and researcher booking records
- Automatically capture the actual use of research facility in URFMS to ease the recovery and settlement of usage cost
- Linkage of URF lab physical access system and URFMS booking record and booked researcher to strengthen the lab safety and security
More URFs and research units will be arranged to join the platform in 2022. Stay tuned.
