Starting from Semester 2 of Academic Year 2022/23, teaching instructors conduct face-to-face / hybrid class in teaching venues with smart panel will be able to leverage keyboard and mouse on the teaching lectern to sign in the embedded teaching PC built-in smart-panel. Moreover, the display monitor on the teaching lectern can be served as a duplicate or extended screen of smart panel display.
Workshop on using smart panel for teaching delivery
To get teaching instructors ready to use the Smart Panel teaching PC, workshops will be arranged in early January to cover the following topics:
- Introduce basic operation on using Smart Panel: Power-up, control with mouse and keyboard, use built-in mic and camera
- Conduct a hybrid or face-to-face class with class recording on Cloud VC platform
- Use an external device (notebook / tablet) to demonstrate specific software or language feature as a guest participant on VC session
- Trial / hands-on session
