University Research Facility Management System (URFMS), launched in early June, is a newly developed common platform for University Research Facilities (URFs) or laboratories to manage their booking and related payment processes.
Researchers and students can simply logon a single platform to view the facilities’ availability and make reservation across various research facilities with different sources of budget. The URFMS also allows researchers to settle booking payment with ease.
The University Research Facility in Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience (UBSN), including the newly setup MRI laboratory in Block Z, is currently a pilot URF in URFMS. Over 180 bookings have been made since URFMS launched on 10 June. The URFMS platform will be expanded to cover other URFs/Research units starting from 2021 Q3.
