Webinars for students on basic Python and Machine Learning fundamentals

Python is the one of the hottest programming languages for use in data analytics and Machine Learning (ML) area. Two upcoming webinars in October and November for students will cover fundamental on Python programming language and Machine Learning.

Basic Python

This is an introductory course on basic Python program development skill. The course will cover popular Python modules / libraries that can be used on data preparation and data mining as well as visualization.

Machine Learning

Fundamental course on Machine Learning will be held in November. The course will cover Machine Learning concept and algorithm. Open source data mining software – Orange will be used as example how data analytics can be conducted via intuitive User Interface (UI) with drag and drop action with no coding required. There is no pre-requisite on coding knowledge, students from Faculty of Business (FB) and Faculty of Humanities (FH) are welcome to join.
