During the class suspension period, teachers can leverage Blackboard Collaborate to conduct online lectures. Blackboard Collaborate is a virtual classroom tool available on the University’s LEARN@PolyU platform.
Teachers can conduct classes online and interact with students using features such as video and/or audio chat, whiteboard, file and application sharing, breakout group, text chat, interactive polling, etc. The virtual classroom sessions can also be recorded for future review by students.

Blackboard Collaborate can support up to 250 participants in the same online classroom. For large classes of more than 250 attendees, please contact the IT HelpCentre (Tel: 2766 5900, WhatsApp/WeChat: 65779669) 3 days in advance for special arrangements.
