Throughout PolyU’s journey to heighten the recognition and protection of IP as well as to steer knowledge transfer from a multi-disciplinary perspective, the Knowledge Transfer Committee (KTC) plays an overarching role in serving on the Council on matters spanning from the formulation of strategies to governance mechanism on all related initiatives and activities.
In regard to the area of patent application and matters concerning IP portfolio management of PolyU, the Intellectually Property Assessment Committee (IPAC) has been formed since 2013 in order to solicit precious industry insights into our IP evaluation and management process. IPAC comprises leaders from various industries so as to assure its significance and credibility in the compilation, implementation, evaluation as well as improvement on IP management with the expertise from respective fields.
