PolyU Granted Funding by Zhuhai Food Safety Funding Scheme

Established by the National (Zhuhai) Food Safety Institute, the Zhuhai Food Safety Funding Scheme focuses on aligning industry peers, reputed industry and academic experts in food safety in addressing implementation and deployment issues of food safety and has supported a funding of HK$1.8 million to a PolyU collaborative research project “Rapid Authentication of Edible Oils using MALDI-MS Combined with Automatic Data Processing” by Dr. Zhongping Yao, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology.
