

The Food Safety and Technology Research Centre (FSTRC) was established by PolyU in 2001 to foster local and international collaborations on food safety research. To support science-based research and development, FSTRC has various functional laboratories with world-leading research facilities for food testing. They include Chemical Analysis Laboratory, Fermenter Room, Cell Culture Room, Mass Spectrometry Room, Food Processing Laboratory and Sensory Evaluation Laboratory, and others for all the advanced researches in food analysis as well as safety evaluation.
