In response to the recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in mainland China and the surrounding areas being affected, the Organizing Committee of the 5th Asia-Pacific Food Safety International Conference (APFSIC) would like to announce a postponement of the conference till late 2020 to allow the outbreak to resolve. The new dates will be announced in due course.

While the Hong Kong SAR Government has taken enhanced measures for disease prevention and control, large scale public events are not encouraged at the moment. The Organizing Committee have decided to make this difficult decision of postponing the conference considering the health and safety of our speakers and attendees under the current public health situation.

The Organizing Committee of the APFSIC thank our Co-organizers, Supporters, Sponsors, Supporting Organizations, Media Partners, and all our friends for your immense support towards this conference so far, and express our sincere apologies towards the inconvenience caused under these unforeseen circumstances. The Organizers and conference secretariat will again be in touch with our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, registrants, and all stakeholders involved for proper follow up arrangements.

Thank you again for your understanding and support, and we look forward to seeing you at APFSIC 2020 in Asia’s World City.
