ISE Smart City Expert Shares Successful Case on Smart Mobility in the APAC Innovation Summit 2016 Series
Recognizing a global megatrend of smart city development, APAC Innovation Summit 2016 Series - Smart City conference was organized by Hong Kong Science Park Corporation (HKSTP) on 22-23 September 2016, featuring smart city and new technology/ innovation in related areas.
Dr George Ho from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) of PolyU was selected as one of the smart city experts to share insights and experience on Smart Mobility. During the presentation, Dr Ho shared the latest solution cooperated with Sino Parking Services Limited entitled "IoT-based Advanced Automobile Parking Navigation System" by leveraging Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology to deliver better driving experience. The solution was highly appreciated by the participating companies or organizations. More than 10 enterprises, which from Hong Kong, France, Italy, Sweden, etc., joined in a business matching session to explore business and R&D collaboration opportunities.
