The 8th Pure International Conference, organised by Elsevier, a global leader in information and analytics, was held in Porto, Portugal, on 2 – 3 November 2022.  Mr Charles CHENG, Senior Manager of PolyU Institutional Planning and Analytics Office and global members of the Pure Community, gathered to exchange their experiences using Pure, a global Research Information Management System.

More than 40 speakers from renowned universities worldwide shared their impactful stories on how the comprehensive research system had helped them to enrich and streamline multiple research processes and augment research performance, funding and institution-wide decision-making.

PolyU leveraged Pure to build the Open Platform for University Scholars (OPUS) where researchers, activities and achievements of the University are showcased.
