PolyU is at the 7th place on the 2019 Quacquarelli Symonds “Top 50 under 50” list which ranks the world’s top 50 universities established within the last 50 years. The universities were ranked based on their academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, research citations and international student and faculty ratios.

Choosing the right programme is a big decision and not everyone is certain of what they want to study. Talk to your teachers, parents and read through faculty and department descriptions to get an idea of what might be right for you.
- A copy of your academic transcript(s) issued by your high school/institution and/or national/international examination results (e.g. SAT, GCEAL etc.) and/or predicted grade for your upcoming examination issued by your school (if applicable)
- Other supporting documents (if applicable)
- Scholarship application form
Some programmes may ask for additional documentation – please check the programme requirements.
All applicants are required to pay a HKD $450 application fee. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please submit your scholarship application with your university application. Submit your application online here.
Log in to the system frequently to check for updates. You will be informed when additional documents are required. An interview may be necessary, and this is usually arranged online.
Successful applicants will receive their admission offer online. Admission results are usually announced from late January to May. Scholarship results will be announced at the same time.
Although the service project in Rwanda has come to an end, this should be the beginning of our life-long service and learning. I am ready to serve more people in need, crossing more cultural, ethnic and community lines.

On 7 December, PolyU conferred the honorary University Fellowship on the internationally acclaimed pianist Mr Lang Lang in recognition of his distinguished contributions in pushing the frontier of classical music and music education.
