WHAT IS "POLY-PRENEUR^®"

Just like "Info-preneur" is defined as an entrepreneur in information technology and "technopreneur" is originated from "technology" and "entrepreneur", The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has coined a new term "Poly-preneur^®" which represents a group of PolyU's venturous graduates* who created their own companies despite daunting challenges and risks.

OBJECTIVES

• To celebrate entrepreneurship spirit of PolyU graduates by shining the spotlight on their accomplishments in their entrepreneurial careers
• To foster closer links among alumni entrepreneurs and allow them to stay in touch with their alma mater
• To encourage and promote entrepreneurship among PolyU students by learning from the success of their seniors
