Introduction
The success of a construction project depends on various factors. Good strategies in procurement and tendering no doubt play an important role. Procurement and tendering may cover the different parts of the supply chain, including the employer’s procurement, tendering exercise, main contractor’s tendering strategies, procurement of vendors and sub-contractors at the lower end of the supply chain. Disputes, uncertainties and procedures in these different stages of tendering are common area the engineers need to handle. As such, knowledge and skills in handling these issues are essential for a successful engineer.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this seminar, students will be able to:

- Know the impact of past performance upon the tendering assessment
