Introduction
The aim of this seminar is to enable the non-financial professionals to understand the concepts of financial management especially in the areas of budgeting and cost control. Through an interactive approach and the use of case studies, participants will be able to appreciate the key underlying concepts and techniques used in financial management and be aware of those areas that they have to be alerted to.

- Key underlying accounting concepts used in preparing financial statements
- Case studies to demonstrate how to read and interpret financial statements strategically
- Computing and analyzing financial ratios in interpreting the organization performance/ project performance in respects of profitability, liquidity, solvency and market prospective
- Terminology and basic principles of cost
- The use of budget to control and evaluate organizational performance
