Introduction
During construction, careful planning is necessary to ensure that the contractor and its subcontractors observe their statutory safety-related duties. The Employer also has a role to play in supervising the contractor in discharging such duties. In the event of an accident, many procedures and insurance issues must be dealt with.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the various legal issues encountered in construction claims in Hong Kong
- Be more aware of the potential resolutions to problems arise in contract claims
