A three-hour webinar was organised in November 2020 as a key feature of Hong Kong Fintech Week. PolyU experts highlighted a wide range of Fintech programmes in different levels and explained how these programmes can contribute to the talent development of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

 

Five renowned experts in the financial field shared their views on the outlook for Fintech development and opportunities in GBA. The speakers discussed how the potentials of the GBA with the help of financial technology solutions to achieve cross-border digital-enabled identity verification, financial inclusion, as well as supply chain of the area. They also discussed Fintech ecosystem and explained why knowing how to stay on top of rapid technological changes in the financial world is essential for today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.

 

During the final roundtable discussion, FinTech experts and PolyU academics discussed FinTech trends and how talent development can help transform the financial landscape in the future. IAEE leverages on PolyU’s expertise to strive to provide a robust and diverse learning environment to nurture new FinTech talent in the GBA.
