Introduction

The PolyU Design Masterclass Professional Development Series will take a collective and interdisciplinary learning approach (design, foresight, strategy, and management) by pulling together the professional knowledge and resources from PolyU School of Design (PolyU Design)’s academic staff and industry experts.

With all the attention on an uncertain future from the Covid-19 pandemic, digitalisation, cultural conflicts, environment and social issues, PolyU Design prepared a series of refined, hands-on and interactive 2-day workshops of different themes for individuals or organisations who would like to formulate skills and strategies to cope with inbound and outbound changes caused by unexpected factors:

Dr. Jörn Bühring is a faculty member at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design, where he is leading the Ignite Innovation, and Masterclass Professional Development programs specifically aimed at fostering University-Industry-Government collaborations through tailored research, visioning, and learning initiatives. Duration	Each PolyU Design Masterclass Course consists of 12 hours (i.e. 6 hours in each day)
Target Participants	The target group is senior-level professionals and strategic decision makers, business and government leaders, who are lifelong learners who are motivated to develop their futures thinking and strategic planning skills, and to develop resilience and a capacity to change.

Learning Outcomes
