Belt and Road Cross-Professional Advancement Programme Inaugural Conference
To officially kick off the Programme and to showcase our programme highlights, the Inaugural Conference took place on 12 December 2018 in the Central Government Offices, Tamar.
Prior to the inauguration of our Programme, The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB) hosted the “Belt and Road: Hong Kong - IN Forum” at the same venue, with The Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of HKSAR and Mr Jack Ma, Executive Chairman of the Alibaba Group as the guests of honour, who officiated our inauguration ceremony.
Two expert-led panels were followed to discuss the business opportunities and challenges faced by finance, legal and construction professionals brought by the Belt and Road initiatives.
The themes of the two panels were:
- Exploring business collaboration and partnership opportunities in the Belt and Road countries
- Embracing the Belt and Road vision: Hong Kong professionals
