The Belt and Road initiatives have opened up a new form of international and regional coordination and cooperation. As such, it provides a wide range of opportunities and challenges. By understanding the cultural and economic features of this cross-border venture, Hong Kong professionals will be better placed to take advantage of the business environment in the Belt and Road countries.

To grasp this opportunity, IAEE first launched the uniquely blended Belt and Road CPA Programme in 2018 specifically for accounting, legal and construction professionals in Hong Kong. The programme has leveraged PolyU’s expertise and network for capacity building, thereby fostering talent development, knowledge transfer and research development for the sustainable advancement of the Belt and Road countries.
