Digital Leadership
Overview

New Generation of Digital Leadership

Digital technologies, which include mobile devices, social media platforms, cloud, big data and analytics, are giving birth to disruptive, high-growth organisations. These companies are rewriting the rules in well-established industry sectors, which are creating a demand for new kinds of leaders who are comfortable with emerging technologies and business models. A recent survey done in May 2015 by Harvard Business Review Analytic Services further affirmed the demand. With the responses of 436 business leaders, many CEOs have realised the importance of strategic opportunities and threats of digital business. Yet, they felt there is a general lack of knowledge and skills of professionals/managers to build a vision for their companies or to develop a strategy to make that vision a reality. In the survey, only 19% of the companies felt that they are strong in both digital leadership and management. This programme addresses such a need, with global and local exposure to thrive in the Digital Age.
