The Fourth UNWTO/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook to Take Place in Guilin

Co-organised by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in collaboration with the SHTM and the Guilin Municipal Government, the Fourth UNWTO/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook will be held in Guilin, China, on 2-4 September 2010.

	Seminar on HR Challenges in Tourism and Hospitality The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the SHTM and the Institute For Tourism Studies will jointly organise a special seminar at this year’s PATA Travel Mart in Macau.
	SHTM to Support Hospitality School of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam The SHTM has been invited by the Simon Charitable Foundation to support a social responsibility project involving the Hospitality School of Ho Chi Minh City (HSH).
	Intensive Learning at CHE Workshop A Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) Workshop leading to professional recognition was held from 6 to 10 July this year, hosted by the SHTM on the PolyU campus.
	Excellent Performances Recognised Three SHTM faculty members recently received awards for their excellent performance.
