Following the request for topics for the panel discussion sessions at the next Academy Conference we received a number of interesting suggestions. In the end we have selected two topics which will be addressed by a panel of Fellows and with discussion from the audience: Equity and Diversity in the academy (at large); and Improving the Transfer of Knowledge. These are in addition to the regular panel sessions dealing with Research and with Teaching/Education. The chairs of the panels will be seeking panel members in due course. One of the purposes of the panel sessions is to identify key issues and actions that should be taken, including actions for the Academy, and we plan that at least the key conclusions should appear on the Academy website and as appropriate have wider dissemination.
Fellows at the 26th CAUTHE Conference 2016
Seven Academy's fellows (Philip Pearce, David Airey, Tom Baum, Christian Laesser, Sara Dolnicar, Brian King, and Larry Dwyer) attended the 26th CAUTHE Conference in Sydney, Australia on February 8-11, 2016. The fellows played a variety of leadership roles as active presenters and commentators.
