With the official launch of the PolyU GreenCoin campaign, you can earn an extra Coin if you bring-your-own (BYO) food and beverage containers to the Communal Student Canteen (3/F, Communal Building) more often!

BYO food/beverage containers to the Communal Student Canteen to perform a transaction and you will receive a receipt with a QR code. Scan it via the GreenCoin app to earn Coins on the same day. If you BYO in 3 days in a row, you will get 1 extra Coin by the end of the 3rd day. If you miss a day in the middle, the count will then reset.

• this campaign lasts until further notice
• Coin balance is shown on the users’ device (mobile phone)
• users should check their Coin balance and e-coupons regularly on the app
• the Coins earned during any given day will be reflected in no more than 24 hours
• Unspent Coins will reset to zero on 31 December 2021, and on every 30 June and 31 December from 2022 onwards
• Coins earned can be used to redeem e-coupons, while each e-coupon is limited to a one-time use within 30 minutes after successful redemption with Coins. If the e-coupon expires before you have used it, the Coins will be refunded
• We reserve the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute
