Underside of hindwing has a large patch of yellow scales and a basal red mark. Upperside of hindwing does not have the basal red mark. On flight throughout the whole year.

後翅翅底有大片黃斑，基部有紅斑，後翅翅面基部則沒有紅斑。全年可見。

Caterpillars feed on Microsolen cochinchinensis.

幼蟲食用鞘花。
