Basal areas on the underside are marked with red colour. Costal areas of hindwing have 2 C-shaped red marks. On flight throughout the whole year except February.

翅底基部有紅斑。後翅前緣無兩個C字形紅斑。除二月外，全年可見。

Caterpillars feed on Shiny-leaved Prickly Ash.

幼蟲食用兩面針。
