Achievements in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme
Organized by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) in 2018 and co-organized by the Office of Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) while the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) serves as the independent advisor, the scheme aims to encourage adoption of websites and mobile apps accessibility to facilitate access to online information and services by all segments of the community including persons with disabilities.
The "Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme" 18/19 1st Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 26 June 2018 and presented Triple Gold Awards to organizations and enterprises with websites winning ‘Gold Award (Website Stream)’ for consecutively three years.
