PolyU receives the Waste Check Commitment Award

PolyU signed the Waste Check Charter in 2015 and pledged to promote waste reduction through devising waste reduction plans and activities. It also measures waste disposal and recyclables collection data regularly for 18 months. On 26 May 2017, the University was presented with the Waste Check Promotional Partner Award (Class of Excellence) and Waste Check Commitment Award at the commendation ceremony. Having fulfilled all Charter requirements, PolyU is recognized for its efforts in reducing waste, supporting recycling and adopting numerous environmentally friendly practices.
