Belt and Road Fundings
PolyU Belt and Road Funding Scheme
The Belt and Road Funding Scheme, consisting of Belt and Road Learning Experience Fund and Belt and Road Student Mobility Scheme, aims to support faculties, schools, departments and student-related offices in organising thematic curricular and extracurricular activities to promote bilateral student mobility and enrich PolyU students’ Belt and Road experience.
Calls for applications are made for two rounds in 2023 as follows:

The application should be made by PolyU’s faculties, schools, departments and student-related offices only.
- Belt and Road Learning Experience Fund
The Fund supports faculties, schools, departments and offices in organising Belt and Road study programmes that strengthen students’ multicultural competency and enrich students’ Belt and Road experience.
- Belt and Road Student Mobility Scheme
The Scheme supports PolyU’s academic units and student-related offices in receiving students from Belt and Road universities for research attachment, training, internship, or any other relevant student programmes.
The K.C. Wong Belt and Road Visiting Fellowship Scheme
To foster academic exchanges between PolyU and higher education institutions in the Belt and Road region, the K.C. Wong Belt and Road Visiting Fellowship Scheme supports PolyU academia to visit the Belt and Road countries for academic exchanges and education collaborations. The Scheme provides up to 10 fellowships each year to PolyU researchers/educators for undertaking research and educational activities in B&R countries. The duration of the visit is from 7 days to 2 weeks.
