Application Fee

For 2022/23 and 2023/24 application

If you are in Hong Kong, you can use Payment methods in Hong Kong to settle the fees:

Undergraduate Programmes: HK$450

Taught Postgraduate Programmes: HK$350 for 2022/23 application
                                                                HK$450 for 2023/24 application

Research Postgraduate Programmes: HK$300

If you are NOT in Hong Kong, you can use Payment methods outside Hong Kong to settle the fees:

Undergraduate Programmes: HK$450 or US$59

Taught Postgraduate Programmes: HK$350 or US$46 for 2022/23 application
                                                                HK$450 or US$59 for 2023/24 application

Research Postgraduate Programmes: HK$300 or US$39

Payment methods in Hong Kong Payment methods outside Hong Kong
  1. Select “Pay Online Now” for FPS Payment for the outstanding fee
  2. Select FPS and then click “Proceed Payment” under Payment Method page
  3. Scan the QR Code with your mobile app
  4. Print receipt if needed after successful payment

If you wish to make payment by credit card which is issued by financial institutions in Hong Kong, you may pay via Internet Banking Bill Payment Service with the selection of your credit card as payment account without incurring additional bank charges. For details, please check with your card issuing bank.

  1. Login to Internet Banking
  2. Select Bill Payment Service
  3. Add New Merchant
  4. Select "Education Institution" or "Post-secondary or Specialised Education" as Category
  5. Select "The HK Polytechnic University" as Merchant
  6. Select "01" or "N/A" as Bill Type
  7. Key in 8-digit debit note number as Bill Payee Account No.
  8. Select the payment account (e.g. saving / current / credit card, etc)
  9. Enter total amount on debit note
  10. Enter the pay on date
  11. Print /save the confirmation page with reference number

Please check your payment status after 2 working days of settlement.

By phone :

  1. Register the debit note no. at 18011 (English) or 18013 (Cantonese)
  2. Settle the debit note at 18031 (English) or 18033 (Cantonese)

By internet :

Please check your payment status after 2 working days of settlement.
  1. Click "Pay Now by Visa/Master/Union Pay Card" button
  2. Follow the payment instructions as stated by the On-line Card Payment System and JETCO Payment Gateway.
  3. Check the payment status from payment system.
  4. An email confirmation will be received after successful payment.

Please check your payment status via our eAdmission system. Please note that your payment status will be updated to "Paid" after your payment has been confirmed by PolyU. You may approach the card issuing bank for enquiries on rejected payment. If there is any network connection problem, please visit eAdmission system again to confirm payment status after 2 working days.

  1. Select Bill Payment
  2. Select Education Institutions
  3. Select “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University”
  4. Key in “01” as bill type
  5. Key in the 8-digit debit note no. and total amount on debit note
  6. Select your payment account
  7. Keep the customer advice for verification.

Please check your payment status after 2 working days of settlement.

  1. Obtain the bank-in slip from your corresponding admission handling office
  2. Inform the teller of your 8-digit bill number as the "debit note number" and pay the application fee amount to PolyU account 280-277476-002
  3. Keep the receipt

Please check your payment status via our Online Admission System. Please note that your payment status will be updated to "Paid" when your payment has been confirmed by PolyU. It normally takes 2 working days to allow proper transfer of payment records to the University.

Payment status will be updated in about 5 working days. If your payment status is not updated after 5 working days, you may email the scanned copy of the payment proof to us with your student number or application number at fostud@polyu.edu.hk.

学士学位课程：港币450元或美元59 (只适用于银行汇票)
授课式深造课程： 港币350元或美元46 (只适用于银行汇票)

申请人可透过本校网上入学系统 (eAdmission system) 以全球通用的VISA卡、万事达卡或国内发行的银联卡来缴交报名费

  1. 请选用Internet Explorer浏览器, 按 “信用卡/银联卡即时网上付款” 按钮
  2. 跟从On-line Card Payment System及JETCO Payment Gateway网上指示
  3. 检查缴费系统显示之最新缴费状况
  4. 成功缴费将收到确认电邮

申请人可于本校网上入学系统 (eAdmission system)查询最新缴费状况。系统会于缴费后更新缴费状况。如对信用卡网上付款有任何疑问,请向签发相关信用卡的银行查询。如在缴费过程中遇上网络问题, 请於2個工作天後返回本校网上入学系统 (eAdmission system)查看最新缴费状况。

银行汇票 (适用于在外地或中国内地居住的申请人)

  1. Buy a bank draft in the sum of the following application fee amount, either in US Dollars drawn on a US bank; or in HK Dollars drawn on a Hong Kong bank, payable to "The Hong Kong Polytechnic University".
  2. Keep a copy of the bank draft.
  3. Write your name, application number and debit note number (8-digit) generated after application submission at the back of the bank draft.
  4. Send the bank draft to "Academic Registry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Hong Kong" immediately by express mail so as not to delay your application processing.

Payment status will normally be updated via eAdmission System to "Paid" in 7 working days or 5 weeks for USD bank draft after receiving your bank draft. For bank draft in USD, please ensure there is sufficient funding during 21-day bank clearing period. Payment status will be updated 2 weeks after 21-day bank clearing period.
If the payment status is not updated after 2 weeks or 5 weeks for USD bank draft, please contact “Academic Registry” via email: ar.intl@polyu.edu.hk or phone: (852) 2333 8455.

  1. 银行汇票收款人为「香港理工大学」或「The Hong Kong Polytechnic University」。
  2. 请复印银行汇票並保存副本以作记录。
  3. 请在银行汇票背面写上申请人的姓名 (汉语拼音)、申请编号及八位數字报名费付款号码 (两者均从网上报名时获取) 。
  4. 请以快递寄回香港九龙红磡香港理工大学教务处收。

本校收到银行汇票后，会在七个工作天内更新你的缴费状况为 “Paid”。如以美元银行汇票付款, 系统会在五星期内更新你的缴费状况为 “Paid” 。请确保於廿一日銀行结算期內有足够资金。缴费状况将於廿一日結算期后两星期更新更新。

请登入本校网上入学系统查看最新缴费状况。如申请人的缴费状况在邮寄银行汇票两星期,以后仍未更新为 “Paid”，请向本校教务处查询。如以美元银行汇票付款, 則為五星期。
