FLTI Series (June 2024) A Good Flipped Classroom Case from ABCT
We are excited to announce that our latest Good Flipped Classroom Case, presented by Dr Joe Lam from the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, has been released today and is now available for download.
This case study explores the innovative use of AI-enhanced teaching videos in the ABCT1D09 Green House Gases and Life, ABCT3625 Chromatographic Analysis Laboratory, and ABCT/FSN3416 Food Analysis Laboratory courses. Dr Lam’s approach involved having students watch AI-optimized videos before lab sessions to better prepare them for hands-on activities. This method not only improved safety and efficiency in the lab but also made the learning experience more engaging. The case study highlights the positive impact on student preparedness and engagement, as well as the benefits of leveraging AI technology in educational settings.
