Electronic and Information Engineering PhD Graduate selected by HKSTP InnoAcademy for Technology Leaders of Tomorrow Programme 2021

Mr Huadi Zheng, a recent PhD graduate from the ASTAPLE group of EIE, is selected by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) InnoAcademy as one of the 12 talents out of over 900 global applicants from the world's top universities for the HKSTP's flagship Technology Leaders of Tomorrow (TLT) Programme 2021. This programme aims to build the pipeline of next-generation technology leaders to reinforce Hong Kong's competitive edge in deep tech and innovation. During the Innovation Challenge of the TLT programme, Mr Zheng and the other two participants joined hands to tackle real-world challenges on "Sustainable and Smart Cities" and their ideation "Midas Platform" won the champion of the competition.
