88 Department of Applied Mathematics Department of Applied Mathematics Qualification BSc (USTC) PhD (NUS) Postdoc (CMU) ORCID ID 0000-0002-1992-4815 Dr JIANG Binyan Associate Professor Research Overview Dr Jiang received his BSc in Statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007, and his PhD in Statistics and Applied Probability from the National University of Singapore in 2012. Prior to joining PolyU in 2015, he was a Postdoc in Carnegie Mellon University. Dr Jiang is interested in different areas in Statistics and Applied Probability, such as High dimensional data analysis, Survival data analysis, Network data analysis, Personalized medicine, with a current research focus on classification problems for data with complex structures, and statistical modelling of network data.
