e Assessment Series workshop
 
The e-Assessment and Grading Series is a series of workshops which will introduce several popular and useful e-assessment, feedback and grading tools.
 
This 3-session series will look at a number of e-assessment tools and will involve hands-on activities as well as demonstrations providing valuable information about e-Assessment and grading online. Each workshop builds on the previous, so it is advised that participants complete the entire series.

This hands-on workshop focuses on the e-assessment tools in Blackboard and Respondus. We will go through the assessment lifecycle including creating, deploying, reviewing assessment activities using Blackboard and Respondus.
 
Respondus is a powerful tool that offers a fast and convenient way to transfer tests built in Word and other text programs to be published directly to Blackboard. After a brief overview of the Respondus software, this hands-on training will teach participants how to use Respondus to create and deploy tests in Blackboard.

This session takes a closer look at one of the most popularly used functions in Blackboard, Grade Center. It consists of hands-on exercises that get you started with Grade Center such as creating, viewing and grading activities and advanced uses such as working offline with Grade Center.
