Welcome to the ELC’s 25th anniversary!

Over our 25 years since we were established on 1 July 1998, the ELC has successfully forged a separate identity to the Department of English. We are immensely proud that the number and range of students we teach and initiatives we offer have continually grown and expanded. We are committed to enhancing students' communication skills, fostering their independent, life-long English language learning and whole-person development. Our strategy is to fully support the pursuit of English language excellence within the PolyU and in the wider Hong Kong community.
