In power systems engineering, for example, visiting a power substation to observe its components firsthand is rarely feasible due to safety concerns and the necessity for specialized personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Response<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To address this gap, a Virtual Reality (VR) system that simulates a power substation environment is currently under development. This immersive tool aims to enhance students\u2019 understanding by allowing them to explore and interact with substation components in a virtual setting.<br><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Engagement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Some students in the department are involved in the project, using their knowledge of power systems and VR technology to aid in developing the Virtual Reality (VR) system.
