Teaching cases on logistics
Description
Five logistics cases have been developed, viz:
- Vendor selection: A case study of Yat Kwong Auto Parts Limited
- Third-party logistics: Experience from the Janel Group of Hong Kong Limited
- Modern terminals and Dachanbay Terminal One
- Revitalization of the Hong Kong Shipping Register
- A warehouse fraudulent case
Intended educational value
These real-world cases will assist students in learning to engage themselves with the theories and practices of the shipping and logistics industry in the region.
Example of application
The contents of the cases, which were used in various subjects, reflect the application of interdisciplinary principles in the shipping and logistics community.
