Description

The topics of the video conference classes conducted include:

• Phase II and III cardiac rehabilitation (Tung Wah Hospital); and
• respiratory rehabilitation (Prince of Wales Hospital)

Intended educational value

These classes allow real-time student involvement in establishing an-experiential contact with staff and patients. Also, the multidisciplinary mode of case management through the clinical classroom can be further illustrated.

This has been applied in clinical teaching.

Evaluation/Comments

Excellent feedback was received from the students, clinicians and teaching staff involved in this project. This was deemed to be a very effective communication platform by the three parties involved.
