Over 25 discipline subjects implemented EAC, including subjects in the disciplines of business, clothing and textiles, applied sciences, environment, architecture, engineering, social sciences, arts and humanities, and hotel and tourism management. Discussions between the project team and discipline teachers resulted in a set of learning guides and EAC materials for each subject. A set of EAC resources usually included several tips, sometimes covering more than one genre (as shown in the list below) because most discipline collaborators would like to receive EAC assistance for more than one assignment. For example, a set may include language advice on the essay writing, oral presentation, grammar and referencing requirements for that subject.

The discipline subject teachers disseminated the learning guides and EAC materials to their students. The project team and other English teachers who helped the project conducted around 30 English workshops and briefing sessions to highlight the key learning focuses in the EAC guides and how these guides align with the assessment requirements by their discipline subject teachers.
