Objectives:
The ultimate goal of the Freshman Seminars is to give students an overview into the broad disciplines, as well as to expose them to the elements of creativity, global outlook and entreprenuership. The objectives of the Freshman Seminars are as follows:
- they must educate stuents on different aspects of computing.
- they must inform students about the computing industry, both in Hong Kong and worldwide.
- they must introduce students to the aspects of entrepreneurship in computing.
- they must expose students to the responsible use and social impact of computing.
- they must serve as introduction to the resst of the curriculum.
