Objectives:
- To develop the discipline-based syllabus and relevant teaching material for teaching the first-year students in order to increase their passion for the discipline and industry, as well as stimulate their interest in university learning and study. This project also aims to guide them through fulfilling the institutional objectives of the University in terms of developing our students creativity, global outlook and entrepreneurship; and
- To administer trial run on the subject in Semester 1 of the academic year of 2011/12 for the Bachelor degree students in order to caliber the syllabus, content and material for the full launch of Freshman Seminar for all undergraduate students in the academic year of 2012/13.
